18 April 2008; At the announcement that Accenture is to sponsor the Special Olympics Athlete Leadership Programme (ALPs) is Special Olympics athlete Susan Murray, from Terenure, Dublin, with Mark Ryan, Country Managing Director, Accenture, Ireland. Through ALPs, with the support of a mentor, athletes are encouraged to become involved in leadership roles and train in areas such as public speaking and presentation skills, volunteering, coaching and governance.
