Phase 1 of the National Sports Campus Development announced

28 April 2008; Founded 10 years ago Castleknock Hurling and Football Club caters for over 1,100 members. The Club is now embarking on its most ambitious project to date, the development of our grounds to include dressing rooms, 2 grass and 1 all-weather pitch in Castleknock. Total estimated project cost is over 5million euro. Pictured at the turning the sod are, An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, TD, and President of the GAA Nickey Brennan, with young Castleknock GAA players Aisling Murray, Ciara Wylie, Robert Wylie, Darren O'Keeffe and Dylan O'Keeffe. The Club has led an exciting life so far, winning the U14 Féile All Irelad Division 1 title in 2007 as well as winning the McNamee Award for Best GAA Website in 2003.
