The Allianz Hurling League semi-finals took centre stage this Sunday with Tipperary pulling away late on to defeat Wexford at Nowlan Park and Galway had too much for Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds.

 

The last ever EirGrid All-Ireland U21 Football Championship Final will be played between Dublin and Galway after they defeated Donegal and Kerry in the semi-finals on Saturday.

In Ulster, the first championship trophy was given out, as Antrim beat Armagh in the Senior Hurling Championship Final to claim a 16th title in a row.

And in Ladies Football Wexford and Tipperary saw off the challenges of Roscommon and Offaly respectively in Clane to book their places in the Lidl Ladies Football National League Division 3 Final.
