The photograph entitled 'Steaming Scrum' features The British and Irish Lions and Maori All Blacks engaging in a scrum during a match at Rotorua International Stadium, on June 17, 2017, in Rotorua, New Zealand. The World Press Photo of the Year, and the winners of the first/second/third prizes in all the categories in the photo contest and the digital storytelling contest, will be announced for the first time at the Awards Show in Amsterdam on 12 April 2018.
