Irish figure skater and Microbiologist Conor Stakelum trains in isolation
3 June 2020; Irish figure skater Conor Stakelum, who was 2017 FBMA Trophy silver medalist and is a five-time Irish national champion, trains in isolation in Dublin. He is normally based in Dundee in Scotland but with the ice rink closed in Dundee, he has temporarily relocated to Dublin and is working as a microbiologist in a Dublin hospital and training around his local area. Following directives from the Irish Government and the Department of Health the majority of the country's sporting associations have suspended all organised sporting activity in an effort to contain the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
