Sean Og O hAilpin teaches the Fijian Rugby Team some hurling skills
18 November 2009; Fijian winger Nasoni Roko tries his hand at hurling during a visit to the team camp in Dublin by Fijian-born Cork hurling star, Seán Óg Ó hAilpín. The rugby players were treated to a hurling skills session with one of the biggest names in Gaelic games, courtesy of Digicel who are sponsoring the Fijians’ trip to Ireland. Speaking after today’s coaching session, Ó hAilpín said: “Today was a great opportunity for me to show visitors to Ireland what Gaelic games are all about. I was born in Fiji and lived there until I was three, so I’m delighted that Digicel was able to organize this coaching session.” The Fijians play Ireland in the RDS on Saturday, November 21st, in the RDS. Kick off is at 17.15. A limited number of tickets are still available from the Spar shop in Donnybrook. Radisson Blu St Helens Hotel, Stillorgan Road, Dublin.
