Republic of Ireland legend Paul McGrath at the announcement of the Irish leg of the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola
22 February 2010; Memories of the Republic of Ireland’s heroic performances at the 1990 and 1994 World Cup finals were relived in Dublin as one of Irish sport’s favourite sons, Paul McGrath, helped announce details of the forthcoming visit to Dublin of the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy itself. The FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola will arrive in Dublin on Saturday April 3rd and will remain in the capital until Tuesday April 6th. It is hoped that as many as 3,000 people will get the opportunity to view the trophy in person and have their photograph taken with it during its stay in Ireland. Sandyford, Dublin.
