Irish Heart Foundation Photocall with Giovanni Trapattoni

23 February 2012; Big-hearted Republic of Ireland Manager Giovanni Trapattoni was on the ball as he backed Ireland’s new ‘marathon man’ Alan Corcoran, 21, who will become the first man to run a lap of Ireland in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation. Trap kicked off the unique 917-mile challenge with a special public appeal to support the worthy cause which was inspired by Alan’s dad and former FAI president Milo Corcoran who suffered a stroke. The Waterford runner takes on 35 marathons in 35 days starting may 27th 2012 and the public is urged to donate €1 for every marathon he runs on www.35marathonman.ie.
