30 September 2017; Alan Foley, from Clongriffin, Co Dublin, and Ruth Shields, parkrun Ireland, from Lisburn, cheer on runners. parkrun Ireland in partnership with Vhi, added their 79th event on Saturday, September 30th, with the introduction of the Darndale parkrun. parkruns take place over a 5km course weekly, are free to enter and are open to all ages and abilities, providing a fun and safe environment to enjoy exercise. To register for a parkrun near you visit www.parkrun.ie. New registrants should select their chosen event as their home location.
