No Barriers 2020 Launch
24 February 2020; Former Republic of Ireland international and current FAI Interim Deputy Chief Executive Niall Quinn, Republic of Ireland international Stephanie Roche with Millie Murray, age 11, from Scoil Chearbhaill Uí Dhálaigh, Leixlip, Kildare, and Ben Udemba, age 12, from Coolmine Community School, Dublin, at the launch of the The No Barriers 2020 project in FAI Headquarters, Abbotstown, Dublin. The No Barriers 2020 project brings together sport and social action, harnessing the excitement of the UEFA EURO 2020 tournament in primary schools across Ireland. No Barriers 2020 builds up to the UEFA EURO 2020 tournament, encouraging primary schools to use football to inspire social change in their community. This new project brings the excitement and power of football directly to schools in the Republic of Ireland, focusing on Dublin and London as host cities of the tournament.
