#RoarForRuairi - Kildare Hurling Charity Fundraiser
31 May 2020; David Herity, former Kilkenny All-Ireland winning goalkeeper and current Kildare Senior Hurling manager, running near his home in Ennisnag in Kilkenny from 2am to 3am on Sunday morning to fundraise for #RoarForRuairi. The Kildare senior and minor hurling squads and backroom teams took part in a 40-hour consecutive run which started at 6pm on Friday the 20th May until 10am on Sunday the 31st of May to raise funds for Roar for Ruairi. Ruairi McDonnell is a 6 year old boy from Clane in Kildare who has been diagnosed with a very rare degenerative and life-limiting neurological condition.
