30 September 2005; The Guinness Hurling Legends Team was unveiled at a gala awards ceremony in the Guinness Storehouse. Pictured is Cork captain Seán Óg O'hAilpín, who was one of the most voted for players in the entire 75 player short-list. A short-list of 75 players was selected by a panel of GAA media back early June, and voting opened up to the public through a website, www.guinnesshurling.ie on Sunday 26th June, the day of the Munster Final. The last votes were cast just before midnight on Monday 12th September. The players were selected on performances from 1995 to 2005. Clarion Hotel, Dublin.
