28 June 2007; Clare star and 2006 All Star Tony Griffin is back home on Irish Soil after no less than 51 days of painstaking dedication in all kinds of weather conditions as he completed the Canadian leg of his 7000km 'Ride for the Cure'. Tony is set to embark on his final journey from Dublin to Athlone this Saturday and then from Athlone to home sweet home in Ennis on Sunday, where a civic reception will greet him upon arrival. Tony's aim through all this is to raise €1m which will go to support the Irish Cancer Society and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. At the announcement of the details of the final leg is Tony iffin.
