11 December 2008; Members of the Ireland Cross Country teams were in confident mood as they visited the home of the 2009 European Cross Country Championships in the Santry Demesne ahead of flying out to this year's event, which takes place in Brussels this coming Sunday 14th. At the course are Men's Senior team members Mark Carroll, Leevale AC, centre, Mark Christie, Mullingar Harriers, right, and Alan McCormack, Dundrum South Dublin, with Women's Senior team member, Deirdre Byrne, Sli Chuailainn AC, Wicklow, second from left, and Women's U23 team member Linda Byrne, Dundrum South Dublin.
