McDonald’s FAI Future Football 2015 launched by Republic of Ireland star Aiden McGeady
2 June 2015; Republic of Ireland and Everton midfielder Aiden McGeady officially launched the McDonald’s FAI Future Football 2015 programme. McDonald’s FAI Future Football is a programme designed to support grassroots football clubs by enriching the work they do at local level. Over 10,000 boys and girls from 165 football clubs in Ireland will take part this year, generating 70,000 additional hours of activity. This year McDonald’s will shine a special light on the 800 coaches that help run the programme, by rewarding them as a thank you for their tireless work in developing young footballers throughout the country. The partnership, in its third year, adds to McDonald’s global investment in football.
