Gaelic Writers Association Awards 2015
16 October 2015; Tipperary's Brendan Cummins and Armagh's Oisín McConville were tonight inducted into the Hall of Fame at the 2015 Gaelic Writers’ Association Awards at the Jackson Court Hotel in Dublin. In addition, Kilkenny's Paul Murphy was awarded the Hurling Personality of the Year, while Dublin's Philly McMahon, received the equivalent football award. This year’s PRO of the Year award went to John O'Leary of Kerry while RTÉ Sunday Game presenter Michael Lyster was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
