John West Féile 2017 Launch
27 April 2017; In attendance at the launch of the John West Féile competitions in Croke Park are, back row from left, Wexford hurler Lee Chin, Monaghan Ladies footballer Eimear McAnespie, Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael Aogán Ó Fearghail, Peter Rooney, Country Manager, John West, Martin Skelly, Chairman, National Féile Committee, Oliver Galligan, National Féile Committee, Carlow Camogie player Kate Nolan and Dublin footballer Philly McMahon, with local GAA players from Lucan Sarsfields GAA club, Co Dublin. This is the second year that the Féile na nGael and Féile Peile na nÓg have been sponsored by John West, one of the world’s leading suppliers of fish. They were joined by ambassadors; Dublin footballer Philly McMahon and Wexford hurler Lee Chin as well as Monaghan Ladies footballer Eimear McAnespie and Carlow camogie player Kate Nolan. The highly-anticipated competition gives up-and-coming GAA superstars the chance to participate and play in their respective Féile tournament, at a level which suits their age, skills and strengths.
