GAA staff announce 'Tour de Thurles' cycle in aid of GAA's five official 2017 charities
27 September 2017; A GAA staff group from Croke Park will embark on the 'Tour de Thurles' raising funds for the GAA's five official 2017 charities by cycling from headquarters to the birthplace of the Association. They will set off from Dublin 3 at 7.30 Thursday morning, 28th September, with an expected arrival time in Thurles of circa 5pm. The160 km route will take the group from the capital through Meath, Kildare, Laois and Kilkenny before finishing in Liberty Square outside Hayes Hotel, the site of the foundation of the GAA.
