17 July 2017; Rising Stars, 100m athlete Patience Jumbo Gula, Judo player Bearach Gleeson, gymnast Meg Ryan, swimmer Amelia Kane, tennis player Juianna Carton and cyclist Shay Donley are set to compete at the 2017 European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Gyor, Hungary from July 22nd to 30th. The Olympic Council of Ireland today announced a team of 40 young talented athletes who will compete at the multi-sport event which will see Irish athletes, aged 13-17, compete against the best youth athletes in Europe.
