14 August 2018; Anna Geary, former Cork camogie player, representing Davy Russell’s Best, in conversation with Ollie Canning, former Galway hurler, representing Jim Bolger’s Stars, during the seventh annual Hurling for Cancer Research game, a celebrity hurling match in aid of the Irish Cancer Society at St Conleth’s Park, in Newbridge. The event, organised by legendary racehorse trainer Jim Bolger and National Hunt jockey Davy Russell, has raised €700,000 to date to fund the Irish Cancer Society’s innovative cancer research projects.
