21 February 2005; AIB, one of the partners in Ireland's successful bid to bring the Ryder Cup to Ireland in 2006, has strengthened its Ryder Cup links by signing Christy O'Connor Jnr to be their Ryder Cup ambassador up to and including the event in September 2006.
