Kilkenny hurlers depart Dublin onboard Aer Lingus for the New York Hurling Classic
14 November 2019; Kilkenny hurlers departed Dublin Airport for New York today onboard Aer Lingus flight EI105. This is the fourth year that Aer Lingus is involved in the Hurling Classic and sees Ireland’s only 4-Star airline as the Official Airline of the New York Hurling Classic. Matches take place in Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, on November 16th and are played in the Super 11s format. Limerick will be looking to retain the Hurling Classic title they won in 2018 as they take on Wexford in the first semi-final. Reigning All-Ireland champions Tipperary play Kilkenny in the second semi-final, followed by the final later that day.
