AIB Connacht GAA Football Senior Club Final Media Day
6 January 2022; Knockmore footballer Kevin McLoughlin in attendance at the AIB Connacht GAA Football Senior Club Final Media Day in MW Hire O'Moore Park in Portlaoise ahead of the AIB GAA Connacht Senior Club Football Championship Final, which takes place in Ballina, this Sunday, January 9th at 1.30pm and will see the Roscommon champions take on Mayo’s Knockmore. Padraig Pearses are hoping to land their first Connacht title, whilst their Mayo opponents haven’t had victory since 1996. The game will be live on TG4. This weekend will also see Waterford’s Ballygunner battle it out with Limerick champions Kilmallock GAA in the AIB Munster Senior Hurling Club Championship Final at 3.30pm in Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday, January 9th, which will also be broadcast live by TG4. Elsewhere, Dublin’s Kilmacud Crokes battle it out with Kildare champions, Naas GAA, in the AIB Leinster Senior Football Club Championship Final at 5pm in Croke Park on Saturday, January 8th and will be shown live on RTÉ 2. Meanwhile, it’s also an action-packed weekend in the AIB All-Ireland Camogie Club Championships with Waterford’s Gailltír going head-to-head with Offaly champions, St. Rynagh’s in the AIB All-Ireland Intermediate Camogie Club Championship 2020 Final at Semple Stadium on Saturday, January 8th at 1.30pm. In the AIB All-Ireland Junior Camogie Club Championship 2020 Final, Raharney of Westmeath will take on Kerry’s Clanmaurice in the decider at Moyne Templetouhy GAA Club in Tipperary at 2pm on Sunday, January 9th. Both finals will be be streamed live on the Official Camogie Youtube Channel. This year’s AIB Club Championships celebrate #TheToughest players in Gaelic Games - those who are not defined by what they have won, but by how they persevere no matter what.
