RNLI and Leinster Rugby charity partnership announcement
8 February 2022; Leinster Rugby have this morning announced the RNLI as its next charity affiliate for the 2021/22 season. The RNLI was nominated by Energia, one of Leinster Rugby’s premium partners. The RNLI will work with the club over the month of February with the aim of raising awareness of the work the RNLI and their team of volunteers do to keep us all safe at sea and on inland waters. Since 2017, RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews based at the 11 lifeboat stations in Leinster have rescued 1,702 people during callouts and Leinster Rugby will highlight that great work across its digital and social platforms. In attendance at the announcement were RNLI life boat crew Moselle Hogan and Nathan Burke, Energia Group head of brand Amy O’Shaughnessy, Leinster Rugby sponsorship manager Eamon de Búrca and Leinster Rugby players, from left, Vakh Abdaladze, Emma Murphy, Scott Penny and Ella Roberts.
