Special Olympics Athletes depart Dublin to compete in the 2022 German National Games
17 June 2022; Special Olympics’ Team Ireland jetted off to Berlin today on Aer Lingus flight EI336 ahead of the 2022 Special Olympics German National Games. Taking place between 19-24 June, these Games will be the largest sporting and humanitarian event in the world and are an important stepping stone towards the 2023 World Summer Games, which will also take place in Berlin. As official airline of Special Olympics Ireland, Aer Lingus ground staff and flight crew were on hand to lend their support and wish Team Ireland well as they embarked on their journey to Berlin.
