Leinster Rugby & St. Michael's House
6 April 2011; St Michael’s House, one of Ireland’s largest providers of community based services for children and adults with an intellectual disability, has teamed-up with Leinster Rugby to promote tag rugby for those with an intellectual disability in Ireland. Leinster’s Ireland ‘A’ centre Eoin O’Malley, right, and Scotland and Lions lock Nathan Hines, along with St Michael’s House service user Evan Dowling, age 10, who turned out to celebrate the launch of the partnership at Leinster’s Donnybrook Stadium today. St Michael’s House has introduced tag rugby training for their service users to promote social inclusion and boost physical well being. Representatives from Leinster Rugby are currently training over thirty St Michael’s House service users to compete in a tag rugby blitz this summer. Donnybrook Stadium, Donnybrook, Dublin.
