GAA Press Briefing - Results of the GAA's Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention
21 March 2012; The GAA have announced the results of their inaugural 'Off The Booze and On The Ball' health campaign, driven by the association's Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention programme. With over 250 clubs registered and an estimated 2500 participants taking up the 'Pint Sized Challenge' of abstaining from alcohol for the month of January, the winning clubs were Currins, Co. Monaghan, Erin's Isle, Dublin, Midleton, Cork, and Kinvara, Galway.
