6 June 2012; Torchbearer Brian Brunton, with the Olympic Flame during the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay through the streets of Dublin. Brian, a member of An Garda Siochána and a keen athlete and has previously carried the torch in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics in Carolina 1999, Alaska 2001, Japan 2005 and China 2007. Brian was the lead Garda organiser of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics World Summer Games held in Ireland in 2003. Nominated by An Garda Siochana. North Circular Road, Dublin.
