Olympic Torch Run in Ireland - Wednesday 6th June

6 June 2012; Former boxer Michael Carruth, from Dublin, is the welterweight gold medal winner in boxing from the Barcelona Games of 1992 and the only Irish boxer to have won gold at the Olympics. Michael turned professional in 1994 and retired from the pro sport in 2000. He is a qualified fitness instructor and sports injury therapist and is now a Boxing Development Officer with Dublin City Council. Nominated by the Olympic Council of Ireland, with the Olympic Flame during the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay through the streets of Dublin. O'Connell Street, Dublin.
