Media Announcement by Leo Varadkar, T.D. on behalf of the National Sports Campus Development Authority
24 October 2012; Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport Mr. Leo Varadkar, T.D., has confirmed that work is well underway on many aspects of the National Sports Campus at Blanchardstown, in particular citing a new agreement between the National Sports Campus Development Authority and Horse Sport Ireland / Pentathlon Ireland to develop equestrian and other training facilities for high performance athletes on the Campus. He also noted that FIFA has also agreed to give grant assistance to the FAI to facilitate their part of the development.
