AIB GAA Club Championship Finals to be an official Gathering event for 2013
28 February 2013; AIB, proud sponsors of the AIB GAA Club Championships for the past 21 years, today announced that they will make the 2013 AIB GAA Club Championships finals an official Gathering Ireland event. To celebrate the Gathering Ireland 2013, AIB and the GAA will pledge a small fund to each of this year’s AIB GAA football and hurling finalists to allow them to bring someone home to Croke Park. The AIB GAA Club Championship finals will take place in Croke Park on St. Patricks Day. The first game will begin at 2.00pm when Connacht champions St. Thomas play Offaly and Leinster champions Kilcormac-Killoughey. Throw in for the football final will be at 3.45pm when St. Brigids, from Roscommon, will meet Leinster club football title holders Ballymun Kickhams.
