Launch of Brain Injury and Sport Conference
17 October 2013; Dublin GAA football players, and ABI Ireland Ambassadors, Michael Darragh Macauley and Rory O’Carroll join Sports broadcaster Ger Gilroy and Acquired Brain Injury Ireland CEO Barbara O’ Connell to launch the registration opening of the Brain Injury and Sport Conference. Tackling the concussion crisis Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, in association with EBIS (European Brain Injury Society) will host a ‘Brain Injury and Sport’ conference at the Aviva Stadium, Lansdowne Road, Dublin on Friday 13th December 2013. This conference aims to increase awareness and education of concussion, presenting best practice on concussion management to a wide audience.
