Irish Soccer Team Show Support for White Ribbon Campaign at the Aviva Stadium
15 November 2013; The Republic of Ireland team showed their support for the White Ribbon campaign at tonight’s friendly international against Latvia at the Aviva stadium, by wearing white ribbons on their jackets during the National Anthem. White Ribbon is Ireland’s only national, male-led primary prevention campaign to end men’s violence against women. It is promoted in Ireland by the Men’s Development Network, a non-profit organisation. White Ribbon Day, on Monday, November 25th, focuses on men ending violence towards women.
