Dublin Docklands Festival of Football
15 April 2009; Niall Quinn and a coaching team of experts were on hand to share their knowledge with children from Dublin’s Docklands at the Docklands Festival of Football which is taking place in Oscar Traynor Complex this week. This year’s festival was attended by Niall Quinn, Chairman of Sunderland FC; Alan O’Neill, Republic of Ireland U21 goalkeeping coach; Jason McAteer, former Republic of Ireland International player; Don Givens, Irish U-21 manager; and Chris Nichol, former Northern Ireland International player. This very special three-day event has been developed for young people from the Docklands area between the ages of 8 and 13 years who want to develop their skills and become more confident and accomplished players.
