25 January 2012; Ireland's latest Olympic team member, gymnast Kieran Behan, who was presented with a cheque for Ä20,000 by the Olympic Council of Ireland to assist his preparations for the London Olympic Games later this year. The 22 year old, who was told he would never walk again after a childhood illness, has overcome enormous obstacles to be the first Irish gymnast to qualify for the games since 1996.
