Sadie and Amy

 

One of my favourite pics from 2014 is this one of Brian O’Driscoll’s wife Amy Huberman, with their daughter Sadie in the stands ahead of Ireland’s Six Nations Rugby Championship game against Italy at the Aviva Stadium in March.

I was keeping an eye out for the two, especially with it being Brian O’Driscoll’s last game for Ireland at the Aviva Stadium, he having graced the field at Lansdowne Road so many times over the years.

The picture was taken before the game as the two helped welcome Ireland to the pitch, in what was to be a convincing 46-7 win on the road to taking the Six Nations title.

I like the expression from an excited Amy in the photo and that she is protecting cute baby Amy’s ears from the deafening roar of the crowd.
